Kenneth Murphy's 180SX

Kenneth Murphy unveiled his recently completed 180SX ahead of the 2014 IDC championship. This is a new car for the 2014 season. Kenneth carried out the shell preparation over the off season, seam welding the chassis, fitting a custom multi-point weld in cage. After getting the safety aspects of the shell prep out of the way, Kenneth moved his way to making clearance to fit the huge SSR Professor wheels. To also get the correct fitment and alignment of the wheels, Kenneth took a shine to Driftworks suspension catalogue and fitted Geomaster hubs, HSD coilovers, adjustable arms and wishbones.

Once the suspension was sorted, Kenneth needed to source a bodykit to tie into his vision for the car. Kenneth chose a full BN Sports kit finished with a Japspeed carbon spoiler all from Shane at Drive N Style. Kenneth sprayed the car himself and Seamus "Da Moose" Walsh applied the finishing touches with the graphics.

Engine wise Kenneth has retained his recently forged SR20 from the his Red 180SX. DOC Motorsport building the engine before the end of last season. John in West Coast Performance mapped the car.
